ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown improved to 10-1 overall with a 1-0 home victory over Dickinson Wednesday. The Red Devils fall to 3-10.
Elizabethtown controlled the ball for most of the game, out-shooting the Red Devils 25-2, but could only get one goal past Dickinson keeper Michael Murphy (Philadelphia, PA/George Washington), who made 17 saves. Elizabethtown net-minder Matt Gwilliam (Quakertown, PA/Quakertown) made two saves to get the shutout.
The only goal of the game was scored for Elizabethtown with 2:32 left in the first half by Ian McGee (Hopewell, NJ/Hopewell Valley Regional) on an assist from Adam Dively (Selinsgrove, PA/Selinsgrove).
Elizabethtown returns to action at home against Eastern Saturday, October 14.
