ETOWN FALLS TO MARY WASHINGTON, 3-0, IN FIRST NIGHT GAME AT HERR FIELD

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown fell to Mary Washington, 3-0, in its first home night game at Ira R. Herr Field Saturday.

Elizabethtown outshot Mary Washington 7-4 in the first half, but the visiting Eagles managed to score twice on those four shots. Mary Washington added a third goal while outshooting the Blue Jays 4-1 in the second half.

Ryan Geib (Manheim, PA/Manheim Central) scored Mary Washington's first goal with 22:46 left in the first half. Adrian Burke (Norwood, MA/Norwood) added the Eagles' second goal with 13:38 remaining in the first half. Marc Salotti (Fairfield, NJ/West Essex) scored the final goal with 20:15 left in the game.

Elizabethtown returns to action on the road against Franklin and Marshall in the Smith-Herr Bronze Boot game Wednesday, September 5. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
