Custer Scores Two As Etown Downs Susquehanna, 3-1

SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- Steve Custer (Baltimore, MD/Dundalk) scored a pair of goals to lead Elizabethtown past Susquehanna, 3-1, in a road game Saturday. Etown improves to 9-4-1 overall and 5-0 in the Commonwealth Conference, while Susquehanna falls to 6-7 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

Custer netted the first two of Etown's goals at 25:14 and at 27:22. It was the second consecutive game that Custer has scored two goals; he now is tied for the team lead with six, and he also leads the team with eight assists. Adam Dively (Selinsgrove, PA/Selinsgrove) assisted Custer's second goal.

Beau Heeps (Allentown, PA/Parkland) scored Susquehanna's only goal on a free kick at 65:02. Drew Wiley (Lancaster, PA/Manheim Township) scored at 86:47 for Etown to set the final score at 3-1.

Elizabethtown returns to action on the road Tuesday, October 16 against Moravian. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
