ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE MEN'S SOCCER Etown Gets First Win of Season, 2-0, Over Rochester; Steve Custer Named Rochester Tourney MVP, Chase Franklin Named Tourney's Best Defender ROCHESTER, N.Y. --- Elizabethtown improved to 1-0-1 in 2002 with a 2-0 win over host Rochester (0-1-1) in the Flower City Tournament Sunday. The Blue Jays won the tournament championship on goal differential. Custer scored the game-winning goal against Rochester off an assist from Ryan Wattenschaidt (Jarrettsville, MD/North Harford) at 58:47. The Blue Jays extended their lead to 2-0 at 73:12 when freshman Brian Healy (Newark, DE/A.I. DuPont) scored his first career goal. Etown goalie Michael Ciattei (Baltimore, MD/St. Paul's School) made four saves in the shutout effort. Elizabethtown will return to action as host of the Richard D. Poole, Inc. Blue Jay Classic Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7. The first game of each day begins at 5:00 p.m., and Etown will face Westminster in its next game at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
