Drew Hands Etown Its First Loss of the Season, 2-0

MADISON, N.J. --- Elizabethtown suffered its first setback of the 2002 season Wednesday night, falling to Drew on the road, 2-0. Etown drops to 3-1-2 overall with the loss, while Drew improves to 4-1-1 with the win.

Tyler Brisk (Cloister, NJ/Northern Valley) got Drew on the scoreboard early, scoring a goal on a penalty kick just four minutes into the game. Drew scored its final goal in the first half as well, as Justin Breen (Long Valley, NJ/West Morris) scored at 40:24 on a corner kick.

Elizabethtown actually out-shot Drew 19-7 in the game. Drew goaltender Peter Boyer (Haworth, NJ/Dwight Englewood) made ten saves to preserve the Rangers' victory.

Elizabethtown will next host Penn State-Behrend for a 1:00 p.m. game Saturday, September 21.
