Etown Falls to Muhlenberg, 1-0

ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- Despite out-shooting Muhlenberg 18-8, Elizabethtown fell to its host in a 1-0 game Tuesday night.

The only goal of the game when Muhlenberg's Evan Smallwood scored on a long shot from midfield that sailed over the head of Elizabethtown's goalkeeper at 30:47.

Muhlenberg goaltender Chris Davis made 15 saves to preserve the Mules' shutout. Elizabethtown falls to 7-2-3 overall with the loss, while Muhlenberg improves to 8-5 overall.

Elizabethtown will return to action in a Commonwealth Conference road game against Albright Thursday, October 10 at 3:30 p.m.
