Elizabethtown Defeats Muhlenberg 4-1

ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown downed Muhlenberg 4-1 on the road Wednesday night to improve to 6-2-3 overall. Muhlenberg dropped to 3-5-2 with the non-conference loss.

Brian Healy (Newark, DE/A.I. DuPont) scored the opening goal for Etown at 13:39. Following a Muhlenberg goal at 32:45, Brennan Reichenbach (Selinsgrove, PA/Selinsgrove) scored on a Chris Boushell (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg) assist at 37:02 to give Etown a 2-1 lead going into halftime.

Brian Zalasky (Milford, PA/Delaware Valley) scored off an Andrew Kummerer (Glenmoore, PA/Coatesville) assist at 60:05 to give Etown a 3-1 lead. The Blue Jays went up 4-1 at 74:03 when Owen Friedrich (Westmont, NJ/Haddon Township) scored on a Daniel Gring (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson) assist.

Edwin Tichenor (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) made two saves in the Etown net to preserve the win as the Blue Jays out-shot Muhlenberg 13-10.
