Etown Ties Wilkes 0-0 Through Two Overtimes

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. --- Elizabethtown’s record now stands at 11-2-2 overall after tying Wilkes University on the road Saturday through two overtimes. Wilkes is now 9-5-2 overall.

Etown pounded shot after shot at Wilkes, out-shooting the host Colonels 26-5 over the course of the game, but the Blue Jays could not get anything past Wilkes goaltender Dominik Proctor, who made 19 saves over the course of the game. Etown out-shot Wilkes 9-4 in the first half, 9-1 in the second half, 4-0 in the first ten minute overtime, and 4-0 in the second ten minute overtime.

Etown goalie A.J. Fleisher (Kutztown, PA/Kutztown Area) made two saves to preserve the shutout on the Blue Jays’ end. Brian Healy (Newark, DE/A.I. DuPont) led Etown in shots with eight and in shots on goal with seven.
