Elizabethtown Falls to Widener 1-0

ELIZABETHTOWN , Pa. --- Elizabethtown College dropped to 7-4-2 overall and 2-2-1 in the Commonwealth Conference in a 1-0 road loss to Widener University Saturday. Widener improved to 5-7-2 overall and 3-1 in the conference with the win.

Elizabethtown and Widener each had eight shots over the course of the game. The lone goal came at 33:50 when Frank Nolan scored unassisted on a long 30-yard shot that sailed under the Etown crossbar.

Elizabethtown will return to action at home Wednesday, October 18 against Juniata College in a 7:00 p.m. Commonwealth Conference game.
