Men's Soccer Match vs. Albright Postponed Due to Rain, Lightning

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Wednesday night's Commonwealth Conference men's soccer match between Albright College and host Elizabethtown College has been postponed due to rain and lightning, and has been rescheduled for Thursday, Sept. 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Ira R. Herr Field.

Approximately 20 minutes before the scheduled 7:00 p.m. kickoff, a line of heavy rain and frequent lightning passed over the Elizabethtown area, forcing the teams to abandon warmups. After a delay of over 90 minutes, the contest was called off.

The Blue Jays (6-2-0 overall) will look to extend their home winning streak to nine matches while the Lions (3-3-2 overall) are unbeaten in their last three contests. This will be the conference opener for both squads.
