Elizabethtown Falls 7-0 To Wilkes in Home Opener

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown dropped to 0-5 in 2006 with a 7-0 loss to Wilkes University in the Blue Jays’ home opener. Wilkes improves to 4-1 with the non-conference win.

Etown’s lone victory came at number one doubles, as Per Roxendal (Zurich, Switzerland/Literargymnasium Ramibuhl) and Hiep Pham (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin East) teamed up to win 8-3.

Elizabethtown will return to action at home Tuesday, March 21 against Messiah College in Etown’s first Commonwealth Conference match of the season at 3:30 p.m.
