Wilkes Earns 7-2 Win over Elizabethtown

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Wilkes University won five of six singles matches en route to a 7-2 win over host Elizabethtown College in non-conference men's tennis action on Sunday afternoon.

First-year student Stijn Van Esveld (Bilthoven, The Netherlands) earned the lone singles win for the Blue Jays (3-3 overall) with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Tom Miller at sixth singles.

In doubles, junior Jeff Kirkhoff (Duncannon, PA/Susquenita) and senior Andrew Voshell (Chester Heights, PA/Garnet Valley) posted an 8-5 win at flight one over Wes McCollum and Jon Rohrbach of the Colonels (7-2 overall).
