ETOWN FALLS TO KING'S IN '99 HOME OPENER, 7-2

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- King's captured five out of six singles matches en route to a 7-2 victory over Elizabethtown in Middle Atlantic Conference non-league action on Wednesday.  With the loss, the Blue Jays fell to 1-2 on the season.

Etown's Tom Height (Nescopeck, Pa./Berwick) posted a straight-set victory at No. 3 singles as the Blue Jays fell in their 1999 home opener.  The Jays' No. 2 doubles team of Scott Czerwonka (Saylorsburg, Pa./Pleasant Valley) and Drew Leisenring (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) also captured a straight-set victory in the losing effort.

Etown opens its MAC Commonwealth League schedule on Saturday, March 20 at home against Moravian College.  Match time is 1 p.m.
