ETOWN GETS BACK ON WINNING TRACK WITH 9-0 DECISION OVER WIDENER; DEFENDING CHAMP ALBRIGHT NEXT FOR BLUE JAYS

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Kevin Holton, Andy Timar, Brian Holton and Gurtej Singh posted straight-set singles victories to lead Elizabethtown to a 9-0 win over Widener in MAC Commonwealth League action on Wednesday.  With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 8-4 overall and 4-0 in the league.

Brian Schuck (Hanover, Pa./Hanover) and Tom Height also won singles and doubles matches at the top of the Etown lineup to keep the Jays alive in the MAC postseason picture.  The Blue Jays would clinch a spot in the conference playoffs with a win over Albright on Saturday, April 17 or at Lebanon Valley on Tuesday, April 20.

Etown returns to action on Saturday, April 17 at home against Albright in a rematch of last year's MAC championship battle won by the Lions.  Match time is 1 p.m.
