LEBANON VALLEY ENDS ETOWN'S PLAYOFF HOPES WITH 7-2 WIN

ANNVILLE, Pa. --- Lebanon Valley captured five out of six singles matches en route to an 7-2 win over Elizabethtown in MAC Commonwealth League action on Wednesday.  With the loss, the Blue Jays fell to 8-6 overall and 4-2 in the league.

Brian Holton (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin) collected the only singles win for Etown, defeating Ben Eastlack, 6-2, 4-6, 6-4, at No. 5.  Brian Schuck and Tom Height teamed up for a three-set victory at No. 1 doubles.  Lebanon Valley can clinch the Commonwealth League's final playoff spot with a win against Susquehanna on Thursday.

Etown wraps up its 1999 campaign on Thursday, April 22 at Villa Julie College.  Match time is 3:30 p.m.
