ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown improved its record to 8-3 overall with a 5-2 win over Western Maryland in the completion of a non-conference match begun March 27 and halted due to rain.
Scott Czerwonka (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) shut out his opponent at number one singles, 6-0, 6-0. Bill Miller (Ridley, PA/Sun Valley) posted a 6-4, 6-0 win at number two, Justin Fisher (Mohnton, PA/Holy Name) won 6-3, 6-1 at number five, and Peter Nguyen (Lebanon, PA/Annville-Cleona) was victorious at number six, 6-1, 6-1.
Elizabethtown returns to action Tuesday, April 18 at conference rival Messiah. Match time is 3:30 p.m.
