Etown Gets First Win of Season, 6-0, over Villa Julie

STEVENSON, Md. --- Elizabethtown got its first win of the 2002 season with a 6-0 defeat of Villa Julie on the road Thursday. The missing point was the result of an uncompleted match at number five singles.

Bill Miller (Ridley Park, PA/Sun Valley) won big for the Blue Jays at number one singles, 6-0, 6-1, and Greg Voshell (Chester Heights, PA/Garnet Valley) had a strong 6-2, 6-0 performance at number two singles. The pair combined for an 8-2 win at number one doubles as well.

Villa Julie's lone win came at number three doubles.

Etown (1-7) returns to action at home Saturday, March 23 against King's for a 1:00 p.m. match.
