Etown Wins Second Match in a Row with 6-1 Defeat of King's

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown won its second match in a row in its 2002 home opener Saturday with a 6-1 victory over King's. The Blue Jays improve to 2-7 with the win, while King's falls to 1-3 overall.

Winning in straight sets in their singles matches for Etown included number two Greg Voshell (Chester Heights, PA/Garnet Valley), 7-5, 6-3, number four Sude Dhillon (Yardley, PA/George School), 6-1, 6-3, and Felipe Olfos (Renaca, Vina del Mar, Chile) at number six, 6-2, 6-1.

The number two doubles team of Dhillon and Brian Holton (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin) won 8-1 as all three Etown doubles squads won their matches.

Etown returns to action Sunday, March 24 in its first Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth League match, hosting Lebanon Valley at 1:00 p.m.
