Etown Edges York, 4-3, to Improve to 6-2 in 2003

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown logged a narrow 4-3 victory over York College at home Monday to improve to 6-2 overall in 2003.

The Blue Jays began the match by taking the doubles point, winning at number one and number two doubles. Greg Voshell (Chester Heights, PA/Garnet Valley) and Sude Dhillon (Yardley, PA/George School) won 8-4 at number one, while Josh Miller (Indiana, PA/Indiana) and Maurits Dekker (The Hague, The Netherlands/Vrizjinnig Christelijk Lyceum) won 8-6 at number two.

In singles, Dhillon won again at number two, 6-1, 7-6 (7-5), Miller won again at number four, 6-4, 6-1, and Dekker won again, 6-1, 7-5 at number five.

Etown will return to action Tuesday, April 1 on the road against Susquehanna in the makeup of a previously rained out match from March 29.
