Blue Jays Defeat King's 5-2 in Non-Conference Match

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown improved to 6-4 overall with a 5-2 non-conference road win in the makeup of a previously rained out match at King's College Friday.

Etown won the doubles point as Josh Miller (Indiana, PA/Indiana) and Pepijn Dekker (The Hague, The Netherlands/VCL) won 8-0 at number two and Yero Saponjian (Yerevan, Armenia/Oshavan) and Taylor Butch (Great Falls, VA/Flint Hill School) won 8-1 at number three.

In singles, Etown won from number three down through number six, as Greg Voshell (Chester Heights, PA/Garnet Valley) won 6-1, 6-0 at number three, Miller won 6-0, 6-0 at number four, Pepijn Dekker (The Hague, The Netherlands/VCL) won 6-2, 6-0 at number five, and Erik Sawchuk (Royersford, PA/Spring-Ford) won 6-3, 6-3 at number six.

Etown will return to action tomorrow when it hosts Moravian at 1:00 p.m.
