Blue Jays Down Albright 6-1, Improve to 4-0 in Conference

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown improved to 8-4 overall and 4-0 in the Commonwealth Conference with a 6-1 win over Albright College at home Monday. Albright drops to 3-8 overall and 2-2 in the conference with the loss.

Etown swept all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point at the outset. Etown also won five of the six singles matches, as Erik Sawchuk (Royersford, PA/Spring-Ford) won 6-0, 6-2 at number six and Greg Voshell (Chester Heights, PA/Garnet Valley) won 6-0, 6-3 at number three.

Etown will return to action Thursday, April 14 at 3:30 p.m. in a road match at Susquehanna University.
