Elizabethtown College Men's Track and Field Elizabethtown Competes at Virginia Tech Last Chance Meet BLACKSBURG, Va. --- Members of the Elizabethtown College men's indoor track and field team competed at the Virginia Tech Last Chance Meet on Saturday afternoon. Senior Drew Graybeal (Woodbine, MD/Glenelg) turned in the strongest performance of the day for the Blue Jays as he finished second in the 800 meters with a time of 1:53.08, a personal indoor record and the second-best indoor time in program history. Graybeal, who had already provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III championships in the event, vaulted into the top 10 on the national performance list with his time in the race. Senior Dave Bresnahan (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) took seventh in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:00.56, with senior Ryan St. Clair (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg) coming in 10th with a time of 16:20.48. In addition, the men's 4x400-meter relay team of sophomore Kyle Grimm (Pottstown, PA/Pottsgrove), junior James Munnelly (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks East), Graybeal and junior Dylan Rulander (Russell, PA/Eisenhower) clocked the fourth-best time in program history with a time of 3:23.84 en route to a fourth-place finish. Sophomore A.J. Farris (Edgewood, MD/Joppatowne) was clocked with a season-best time in the 200 meters at 22.89 seconds, as were Grimm at 23.31 seconds and sophomore Mike Mauger (Pottstown, PA/The Hill School) at 23.51 seconds. |
