ETOWN MEN RACE TO SURPRISING FOURTH PLACE FINISH AT MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown men's cross country team finished in fourth place at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships on Saturday.

Colin Foran led the Blue Jay men with a 20th-place finish in a time of 28:17.6, as Etown improved dramatically from a 10th-place conference finish in 1997.  Larry Bullock (21st), Jeff Harmon (30th), Steve Borst (41st) and Jon O'Donnell (50th) all finished among the top 50 runners.

Moravian College swept to its sixth consecutive MAC championship in both the men's and women's races.

Etown will return to Allentown College to compete at the NCAA regional meet on Saturday, November 14.  Race times are to be determined.
