Etown "B" Team Finishes Seventh at LVC Invitational

FT. INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. --- Elizabethtown competed at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational at Fort Indiantown Gap Saturday. The Blue Jays did not run their top seven runners, who are training for Sept. 15's Spiked Shoe Invitational at Penn State, and instead sent their "B" team to compete at Lebanon Valley. Etown's "B" team placed an impressive seventh out of 17 teams at the meet.

Leading the way for Etown was sophomore Kevin Roe (Malvern, PA/Great Valley), who finished 22nd in a field of 204 runners with a time of 28:25 over the 8050m course. First year Sean Graves (Bethesda, MD/Walter Johnson) was right on his heels in 23rd place with 28:26.

Also finishing in the race's top 50 were José Miranda (Harrisburg, PA/Susquehanna Twp.), who came in 39th in 28:55, and 42nd place finisher Chris Williams (Dillsburg, PA/Northern York) with a time of 29:03.

Etown's top seven will return to action at the Penn State Spiked Shoe Invitational Saturday, September 15.
