ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY View the complete men's results here. Blue Jays Host Elizabethtown Invitational, Place Third ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown hosted its annual Elizabethtown Invitational at the Etown Fairgrounds Saturday, and the Blue Jays finished third with 76 points. The Blue Jays were the top-finishing NCAA Division III team in the race, as NCAA Division II Lock Haven won with 32 points and Division II Shippensburg placed second with 39 points. Of the eight teams scoring in the race, four were Divison II programs, three were Division III programs, and one was a running club team. The top finisher on the 6050m course was Shippensburg junior Allen Hanslovan in 19:02, and Shippensburg senior John Somers finished second in 19:24. Etown’s top finisher, and the top D-III finisher in the race, was Tyson Evensen (West Sand Lake, NY/Averill Park) in seventh place out of 83 runners. Jason Theobald (Honesdale, PA/Honesdale) was Etown’s number two finisher in 12th place in 19:55, and Greg Wetzel (Warrington, PA/Central Bucks East) finished 18th overall in 20:16. Ryan Mulcahy (Towanda, PA/Towanda) was Etown’s number four runner in 19th place in 20:16, and David Cohen (Allentown, PA/William Allen) was Etown’s fifth and final scorer in 23rd place in 20:23. Etown alumnus Mike Zwatty ’03 was the West Shore Running Club’s number two finisher in 27th place overall with a time of 20:31.
