Elizabethtown Places Fourth Overall, First Among Division III Teams, at James Madison University Invitational

HARRISONBURG, Va. --- The Elizabethtown College men’s cross country team placed fourth overall out of nine teams and first among the NCAA Division III teams in the meet with a score of 113 at the James Madison University Invitational Saturday.

Ryan St. Clair '08 was the top Division III finisher.

Etown’s top finisher, as well as the top Division III finisher, on the 7900m course was junior Ryan St. Clair (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg Area), who placed 24th overall out of 86 finishers in 26:46. Senior Patrick Donovan (South Pasadena, CA/St. Francis) was 29th in 27:00, while senior Dave Bresnahan (Cinnaminson, NJ/Cinnaminson) was 31st in 27:09. Senior David Cohen (Allentown, PA/William Allen) was 34th in 27:11, and senior Jason Theobald (Honesdale, PA/Honesdale) was fifth in 27:14.

Elizabethtown will return to action Saturday, September 30 at the Lehigh University Paul Short Invitational.
