Elizabethtown Places 37th at Lehigh Brooks Paul Short Invitational

Jason Theobald '07 was Etown's top finisher.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Elizabethtown struggled in a largely NCAA Division I field at the Lehigh University Brooks Paul Short Invitational Saturday. The Blue Jays placed 37th out of 42 teams with a score of 939, beating Rider University, Temple University, La Salle University, the University of Delaware, and Longwood University. Villanova University won the meet with 103 points.

Elizabethtown’s top finisher on the 8,000m course was senior Jason Theobald (Honesdale, PA/Honesdale), who placed 152 in a field of 276 finishers with a time of 26:18.

Elizabethtown will return to action on the road Saturday, October 7 at the Dickinson College Invitational.
