Liz Fretz Named Etown's First-Ever Women's Lacrosse MAC All-Star

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College freshman Liz Fretz (Parkerford, PA/Owen J. Roberts) has been named the first women's lacrosse Middle Atlantic Conference all-star in the school's history.

Fretz was named a first team all-star by the MAC following a freshman season where she emerged as one of the conference's most prolific goal-scorers, and she led the Blue Jays with 60 goals scored. She also had eight assists for a team-best total of 68 points in 14 games played. Fretz also received MAC Player of the Week honors once during the 2002 season.

It was the first season for Elizabethtown women's lacrosse as well, as the team went 4-10 overall and 2-6 in the MAC in its very first season of competition.
