Elizabethtown College Senior Dina Jingoli Named Women's Soccer All-American

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.-- Elizabethtown College senior Dina Jingoli of Morrisville, PA has been named to the National Soccer Coaches' Association of America (NSCAA) All-America Second Team. Jingoli, a midfielder, is the third All-American in the history of Etown women's soccer and the program's first since 1997.

Jingoli started all 20 games for the Blue Jays in 2001. She finished the season as the leading scorer on the team with three goals and 15 assists for 21 points. Her 15 assists broke the former Elizabethtown single-season record of 13 set in 1989.

Through four seasons, Jingoli collected 21 goals and 37 assists for 79 career points. Her career assist total of 37 is the Elizabethtown program record. In 1999, 2000, and 2001 she was a member of the Middle Atlantic Conferences' Academic Honor Roll and a Commonwealth Conference all-star. She was also the 2000 Commonwealth Conference Co-MVP.

Jingoli is majoring in elementary education with a minor in human services at Elizabethtown. She is a 1998 graduate of Notre Dame (NJ) High School.

Elizabethtown concluded its 2001 season with a 15-5 overall record in a 3-1 loss to Muhlenberg in the NCAA Division III tournament Mid-Atlantic Regional. With a 15-5 finish, the Blue Jays concluded the season with a .750 winning percentage, their best since 1997.
