Three Elizabethtown Student-Athletes Named to All-Region Women's Soccer Team

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Three Elizabethtown College student athletes have been named to the National Soccer Coaches' Association of America (NSCAA) All-Mid-Atlantic Region teams. They are senior forward Nicole Hundley of Lititz, PA, who was named to the Third Team, sophomore defender Megan Halladay of Wallingford, PA, who earned a spot on the Third Team, and senior Dina Jingoli of Morrisville, PA, who was named to the region's First Team and has also been named a Second Team All-American by the NSCAA, making her Etown's first women's soccer All-American since 1997.

Hundley started all 20 games for the Blue Jays this season. Hundley scored five goals and had eight assists for 18 points.

Her career totals through four years include 25 goals and 30 assists for 80 career points. She ranks sixth all-time at Etown in career goals, fifth in career points, and fifth in career assists. She was named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll in 1999, 2000, and 2001, and also was a first team all-conference selection in 2001.

Hundley is majoring in math education at Elizabethtown. She is a 1998 graduate of Manheim Township High School.

Halladay started eighteen and played in all twenty games for the Blue Jays, scoring four goals for eight points this season.

Over the course of her career, she compiled six goals and one assist for 13 points. Halladay was named a second team all-star by the Commonwealth Conference in 2000 and was a first team all-star in 2001. She was also named to the Middle Atlantic Conferences’ Academic Honor Roll in 2001.

Halladay is majoring in business at Elizabethtown. She is a 2000 graduate of Strath Haven High School.

Jingoli started all 20 games for the Blue Jays in 2001. She finished the season as the leading scorer on the team with three goals and 15 assists for 21 points. Her 15 assists broke the former Elizabethtown single-season record of 13 set in 1989.

Through four seasons, Jingoli collected 21 goals and 37 assists for 79 career points. Her career assist total of 37 is the Elizabethtown program record. In 1999, 2000, and 2001 she was a member of the Middle Atlantic Conferences' Academic Honor Roll and a Commonwealth Conference all-star. She was also the 2000 Commonwealth Conference Co-MVP.

Jingoli is majoring in elementary education with a minor in human services at Elizabethtown. She is a 1998 graduate of Notre Dame (NJ) High School.

Elizabethtown concluded its 2001 season with a 15-5 overall record in a 3-1 loss to Muhlenberg in the NCAA Division III tournament Mid-Atlantic Regional. With a 15-5 finish, the Blue Jays concluded the season with a .750 winning percentage, their best since 1997.
