FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Elizabethtown Senior Megan Halladay Named to NSCAA All-Region Women's Soccer Team ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College senior sweeper Megan Halladay (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) has been named to the National Soccer Coaches' Association of America (NSCAA) All-Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team in women's soccer for the 2003 season. It is the second time in her career that she has earned all-region honors, having made the third team in 2001.
Earlier in the 2003-04 academic year, Halladay became Elizabethtown's first two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American in nearly a decade, and she was a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree in 2001, 2002 and 2003. She was a three-time first team All-Commonwealth Conference player in 2001, 2002, and 2003, and she was a second team all-conference honoree as a first year in 2000. The Elizabethtown College women's soccer team completed the 2003 season with a 10-6-2 overall record and a 3-4 mark in the Commonwealth Conference. |
