Elizabethtown Senior Kelly Miller Named to All-Commonwealth Conference First Team in Field Hockey

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College senior midfielder Kelly Miller (Robesonia, PA/Conrad Weiser) has been named to the All-Commonwealth Conference First Team in field hockey for the 2004 season.

It is the third time that Miller has earned all-conference recognition, but only her first appearance on the first team. She was a Second Team all-conference honoree in 2001 and in 2003. This year, she led the Blue Jays in assists with five, and she scored two goals for a total of nine points, the third highest total on the team.
Over the course of her four-year career, Miller scored 15 goals and assisted 14 more for a total of 44 career points. She also tallied three defensive saves in her career.

The Elizabethtown College field hockey team finished the 2004 season with a 4-16 overall record and a 1-6 finish in the Commonwealth Conference. Nine of the 20 teams the Blue Jays played in 2004 were nationally ranked in the top 20 in NCAA Division III at various points over the course of the season.
