Women's Soccer Ranked in Two National Polls

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown College women's soccer team is ranked in a pair of national polls, both of which were released on Tuesday.

The Blue Jays climbed to 18th in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Division III national poll, and are 22nd in the D3kicks.com Women's Top 25 poll.

Elizabethtown was ranked 20th in last week's NSCAA poll and were unranked in last week's D3kicks.com poll after being ranked 20th in their preseason survey.

The Blue Jays (14-1-1 overall, 2-0-0 Commonwealth Conference) extended their school-record unbeaten streak to 15 matches with a 1-0 victory at Lycoming College on Tuesday afternoon.

This season, the Blue Jays have outscored their opponents by a 35-5 margin, and during their 15-game unbeaten streak have allowed a total of three goals while posting 13 shutouts.

Elizabethtown returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 20 when Widener University visits Ira R. Herr Field at 2:00 p.m. for Homecoming.
