Erin Walton Selected to Commonwealth Conference Honor Roll in Women's Basketball

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College senior guard Erin Walton (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington County) has been named to the Commonwealth Conference Honor Roll in women's basketball for the week ending Nov. 18, the conference office announced Monday.

Walton was named to the All-Tournament team at the Mike Durgala Memorial Tournament at Johns Hopkins University after averaging 25.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in two games.

She scored a game-high 27 points along with six rebounds in a 73-59 loss to FDU-Florham in Saturday's tournament opener, then tallied 24 points and four boards in an 86-71 win over Wesley on Sunday.

In the process, Walton moved past the 1,300-point mark in career scoring and climbed into eighth place on the school career list with 1,344 points, just 22 points shy of moving into fifth place.

The Blue Jays (1-1 overall) travel to Swarthmore College on Tuesday evening for a 7:00 p.m. non-conference.
