Bunting Named to Two All-Region Teams, Severini Earns Third-Team Honors

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College junior defender Wes Bunting (Lancaster, PA/McCaskey) has been named first-team All-Mid-Atlantic Region by both the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and D3kicks.com.

In addition, senior forward George Severini (Havertown, PA/Haverford) was a third-team selection by D3kicks.com as the Blue Jays finished 14-6 overall and advanced to the Commonwealth Conference championship match for the fifth consecutive season.

Bunting, a repeat selection to the NSCAA All-Region first team, started all 20 games at center back for the Blue Jays and finished with two goals and four assists for eight points, while helping the Blue Jay defense post 10 shutouts and record a 0.80 goals against average.

He was also named first-team All-Commonwealth Conference for the second straight season, and was recognized on the D3kicks.com All-Region team for the second consecutive year after being a second-team choice last season.

Severini was also first-team All-Conference selection as he led the Commonwealth Conference with 15 goals and ranked second with 32 points. He posted four two-goal games and scored four game-winning goals for the Blue Jays.
