Megan Quinn Named Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College junior guard Megan Quinn (Millersville, PA/Penn Manor) was named the Commonwealth Conference women's basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 20, the conference office announced Monday.

Quinn averaged 18.5 points per game for the Blue Jays last week, scoring a team-high 20 points in a 72-64 loss at College of New Jersey on Monday night and tallying 17 points in an 83-52 win at Immaculata University on Saturday afternoon.

She went 5-for-12 from three-point range in the two games, and also added six rebounds, five assists and five steals for the Blue Jays (9-5 overall).

For the season, Quinn ranks second on the team with an average of 13.5 points per game, leads the Blue Jays with 17 three-pointers and 31 steals and is averaging 4.9 rebounds per game.

Elizabethtown opens its Commonwealth Conference schedule on Tuesday night at Lycoming College beginning at 6:00 p.m.
