Katie Foley Repeats as MAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- For the second consecutive week, Elizabethtown College junior attack Katie Foley (Palmyra, NJ/Holy Cross) has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference Player of the Week, the MAC office announced Monday.

Foley continues to dominate all opponents as she scored a total of 13 goals and added two assists in victories over Lycoming (17-12) and King’s (20-4).

Against Lycoming, she scored seven goals on nine shots and registered her 200th career point as the Blue Jays knocked off the Warriors. In the win over King’s, Foley scored the game’s first four goals and finished with six goals and two assists.

For the season, Foley leads the team and the MAC with 49 goals, which is tied for the fourth-most in a season in program history, and has added 11 assists for 60 points in just 11 matches.

The Blue Jays (7-4 overall, 4-1 MAC) play at national power College of New Jersey on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
