FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Gary Senese Selected to Compete in USILA North/South Senior All-Star Game ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College senior Gary Senese (Leonardtown, MD/Tatnall School) has been selected to participate in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III North/South Senior All-Star Game on Friday afternoon at Harvard Stadium in Boston. The game, which matches the top senior lacrosse players in Division III, will be played at 2:00 p.m. as part of a tripleheader. The Division I/II game follows at 4:00 p.m., and the Boston Cannons will face the Rochester Rattlers in Major League Lacrosse action at 7:00 p.m. Senese, a three-time All-Middle Atlantic Conference selection at long-stick midfield, joins Frankie Puzzangara '07 and Justin Griffey '05 as North/South All-Star game selections. He is one of 26 players on the South roster, and the lone representative from the MAC in the contest. This season, he finished fourth on the team with 40 ground balls and helped the Blue Jays compile a 9.89 goals against average while holding 10 of their 14 opponents to 10 goals or less. For his career, Senese ranks fourth in program history with 203 ground balls. |
