EWING NAMED TO MAC COMMONWEALTH FIELD HOCKEY ALL-STAR FIRST TEAM

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Mandi Ewing of McClure, Pa. was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth All-Star first team for field hockey for the 1999 season.

Ewing, a junior link, started all 19 games for Elizabethtown in 1999. She tied for the team lead in goals scored with eight and led the Blue Jays in assists with six and total points with 22. She also had the team's longest point scoring streak, which stretched from September 30 to October 6 and spanned four games.

She is a 1997 graduate of West Snyder High School.

The Elizabethtown College field hockey team finished the season with an 8-11 overall record. The Blue Jays were 2-5 in the MAC Commonwealth.
