READING, Pa. --- Elizabethtown (9-10, 4-2) won for the eighth time in ten games, sweeping a doubleheader from Albright, 4-2 and 10-8 in MAC Commonwealth League action on Saturday.

Lora Crawford led the Blue Jay offense with a 4-for-5 day that included three doubles and six RBI. Kristy Nowell also drove in four runs in game two and smacked the teamÕs first home run of the season.

In the opener, Angela Moyer went the distance to pick up her team-best fourth win of the year for Etown. Crawford broke a 1-all tie in the fifth inning with a two-out, two-run double that plated Vikki Detweiler and Kelly Spence.

In game two, the Blue Jays exploded for seven runs in the fifth inning to erase a 4-3 deficit. Linda Milnes picked up her second victory in as many decisions with four inning of relief.

Etown, which has won five in a row, returns to action on Tuesday, April 7 with an MAC Commonwealth League doubleheader at home against Juniata. Game time is 3 p.m.
