SCRANTON, Pa. --- Elizabethtown (14-13) swept an MAC non-league doubleheader from Scranton, 14-5 and 7-1, on Thursday to push the Jays above .500 and give head coach Barbara Shenk her 100th victory.

Lora Crawford went 3-for-4 with four runs scored and five RBI to lead an 11-hit Etown attack in game one. The senior co-captain also rapped out a double in each game to set the program record for two-baggers in a season (11).

Kristy Nowell went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI and also picked up the victory in relief of Angela Moyer. Melissa Reinhart helped the cause with four RBI.

In game two, Erin Reynolds returned to the mound for the first time in three weeks and picked up the complete game victory, allowing only a run on four hits over seven innings. Vikki Detweiler led the offense, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored.

Etown returns to action with a crucial MAC Commonwealth League doubleheader at Messiah College, the No. 1 team in the East Region. Game time is 1 p.m.
