ETOWN GOES 3-1 AT FERRUM (VA) INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT

FERRUM, Va. --- Elizabethtown's record now stands at 4-2 overall following three wins and one loss at the Ferrum (VA) softball invitational Friday and Saturday.

Etown kicked off the weekend with three wins in a row, defeating Emory and Henry 1-0 Friday behind the pitching of Kristy Nowell (Wilmington, DE/St. Elizabeth), who got picked up her first win of the season.

Kristie Kulesa (Steinhope, NJ/Lenape Valley Regional) also won her first game of 2000 Friday as Elizabethtown smashed Shenandoah 18-3.

The Blue Jays picked up their third win of the day Friday and the second win of the season for Angela Moyer (Telford, PA/Christopher Dock Mennonite) with a 2-1 win over St. Joseph's.

Elizabethtown lost its only game Saturday, 11-3 to Lycoming.

Etown returns to action in its home debut Tuesday against Dickinson. Game time is 2:30 p.m.
