Etown FALLS TO GOLDEY BEACOM, 5-1
ELIZABETHTOWN, PA --- Elizabethtown's record fell to 9-8 overall with a 5-1 home loss to National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) member Goldey Beacom Monday. Goldey Beacom improves to 12-8 overall with the win.
The Blue Jays' lone run of the game came when Shannon Miller (Glenolden, PA/Interboro) doubled and was driven in on a single by Beth Angeloni (Phoenixville, PA/St. Pius X).
Angela Moyer (Telford, PA/Christopher Dock Mennonite) entered the game on the mound for Elizabethtown in the fourth inning and gave up only one hit, one unearned run and no walks in four innings pitched.
Elizabethtown will next face Kean at home in a doubleheader Thursday, April 10. Game time is 3:00 p.m.
