ETOWN FALLS TO ALBRIGHT, WOMEN LOSE 128-74, MEN FALL 121-72; CASEY MOORE SETS PROGRAM RECORDS IN 100 AND 200 FREESTYLE

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown was swept by Albright at home Saturday, as the women's team fell 128-74 and the men's team lost 121-72. Casey Moore (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson) set a pair of new Etown men's program records in the 100 and 200 yard freestyle.

The only individual event winner for the Elizabethtown women was Christina Blaha (Killingworth, CT/Haddam-Killingworth), who won the 200 breaststroke in 2:38.93.

In the men's races, Casey Moore (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson) won both individual events in which he participated for the Blue Jays, and set new program records in each. He captured the the 200 freestyle in 1:46.43 and won the 100 freestyle in 48.72 seconds. His 200 free time displaces the previous record of 1:48.27 set by Brian Renninger in 1993, and his 100 free time beats the previous program-best of 48.85 seconds set by Doug Hamsher in 1997.

Paul Contino (Flourtown, PA/Plymouth Whitemarsh) won the 200 butterfly for Etown in 2:14.98, and Scott English (Southbury, CT/Pomperaug) won the 50 freestyle in 23.23 seconds.

Elizabethtown returns to action on the road Tuesday, January 16 at Washington College. Meet time is 7:00 p.m.
