ETOWN'S CASEY MOORE FINISHES 36th OUT OF 47 IN 100 FREESTYLE AT NCAA SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

BUFFALO, N.Y. --- Elizabethtown freshman Casey Moore (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson) finished 36th out of 47 swimmers in the trials of the 100 yard freestyle at the NCAA Division III Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships, hosted by the State University of New York Athletic Conference in Buffalo, NY, Saturday.

Moore recorded a 50 yard split time of 23.05, and he completed the second half of the race in 24.61 to finish the event in 47.66 seconds.
On Friday evening, Moore finished tenth in the nation in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:42.12. He posted a trials time of 1:42.42 in that event.

On Thursday, Moore finished 22nd out of 37 swimmers in the 500 yard freestyle, and he posted a personal and program best time of 4:41.43 in that event.
