ETOWN FALLS TO WESTERN MARYLAND, WOMEN LOSE 51-44, MEN DEFEATED 63-30

WESTMINSTER, Md. --- Elizabethtown was swept by Western Maryland on the road Tuesday, as the women's team fell 51-44 and the men's team lost 63-30. For the third consecutive time, the deciding factor in the women's meet came down to the final event.

Winning individual events for the Etown women included Sarah Bradley (Mt. Pleasant, PA/Mt. Pleasant), who won the 50 yard freestyle in 26.55 seconds, Stacey Benton (Duncansville, PA/Hollidaysburg), who captured the 100 yard backstroke in 1:06.61, and Christina Blaha (Killingworth, CT/Haddam-Killingworth), who won the 200 breaststroke in 2:40.13.

In the men's races, both of Elizabethtown's wins came from Casey Moore (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson) in his collegiate debut. Moore captured the 200 yard freestyle in 1:52.01 and won the 100 freestyle in 50.53 seconds.

Elizabethtown returns to action on the road Saturday, December 9 against Lebanon Valley. Meet time is 1:00 p.m.
