ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE SWIMMING Scranton Sweeps Etown, Blue Jay Women Lose 108-96, Men Fall 100-76, Casey Moore Sets New Etown Men's Record in 200 Yard Individual Medley ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown's men's and women's swimming teams hosted Scranton Saturday and fell to the visiting Royals, with the women dropping a 108-96 meet to fall to 5-8-1 overall and the men losing 100-76 to fall to 3-9 overall. The day was not without its highlights, however, as Casey Moore (Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson) eclipsed the Etown men's program record he set earlier in the year in the 200 yard individual medley with a time of 2:00.28. Moore's old record time in the event was 2:02.29. He won the men's 200 I.M., and he also won the 500 yard freestyle in 4:51.33. Also winning a pair of events for the Etown men was Scott English (Southbury, CT/Pomperaug), who captured the 50 yard freestyle in 23.06 seconds and won the 100 yard freestyle in 51.25 seconds. In the women's meet, Sarah Bradley (Mt. Pleasant, PA/Mt. Pleasant) won both the 100 yard freestyle in 57.01 seconds and the 200 yard freestyle in 2:04.46 for Etown. Kristen Kuc (Camp Hill, PA/Trinity) won the 50 yard freestyle in 26.63 seconds, and Holly Gish (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) won the 100 yard backstroke in 1:04.39 for the Blue Jays. Etown returns to action as host of Middle Atlantic Conference rival Widener Tuesday, Feburary 5 for a 6:00 p.m. meet. At Elizabethtown, Pa.
