Elizabethtown Falls to Lycoming, Washington & Jefferson, in Triangular Meet

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown's women's swimming team dropped to 1-3 overall and the Blue Jays' men's swimmng team fell to 0-4 in 2003-04 with losses to Lycoming and Washington & Jefferson in a home triangular meet Saturday. The Etown women lost to Lycoming 71-24 and Washington & Jefferson 53-39, while the Etown men fell 84-10 to Lycoming and 53-28 to Washington & Jefferson. The Lycoming men edged Washington & Jefferson 48-47, and the Washington & Jefferson women defeated Lycoming 69-26.

Etown’s lone event victory for the day came courtesy of Christina Blaha (Killingworth, CT/Haddam-Killingworth), who won the 100 yard breastroke in 1:11.55.

Etown's women's swimming team will return to action at home Saturday, November 22 against Millersville in a 1:00 p.m. meet. The next time both the women and the men return to action will be at home Tuesday, November 25 against Lebanon Valley in a 6:00 p.m. meet.
