McDaniel Sweeps Etown; Blue Jay Women Fall 130-77, Etown Men Fall 126-43

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown College women's swimming team dropped to 3-4 overall with a 130-77 loss, and the Etown men fell 126-43 to drop to 0-6 as McDaniel swept Etown at the Blue Jays' Alumni Pool Tuesday night.

Keeley Trumbo (Jeffersonville, PA/Great Valley) won both the 200 yard freestyle and the 100 yard butterfly for Elizabethtown with respective times of 2:05.63 and 1:02.07. Christina Blaha (Killingworth, CT/Haddam-Killingworth) won the 100 yard breaststroke for the Blue Jays with a time of 1:11.57.

The lone event winner for the Etown men was Brian Thudium (Harleysville, PA/Souderton), who won the 100 yard freestyle in 54.10 seconds.

Etown will return to action this weekend, competing in the Franklin & Marshall Invitational from December 5 to December 7, as well as hosting Washington College (Md.) Saturday, December 6 at 1:00 p.m.
