York Sweeps Etown, 115-90 in Women's Meet, 112-80 in Men's Meet

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College's men's and women's swimming teams each dropped to 0-2 in 2004-05 with a pair of home losses to York College Wednesday night. The Etown women fell 115-90, and the Etown men dropped a 112-80 meet.

Etown first-year Molly Campbell (Mountville, PA/Lancaster Catholic) won a pair of events for the Blue Jays, capturing the 50 yard freestyle in 26.89 and winning the 100 freestyle in 58.68. Blue Jay senior Holly Gish (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) won the 100 yard backstroke in 1:05.43 and narrowly missed a win in the 200 individual medley in 2:21.24, placing second and only 0.03 second behind first place. Stacey Limbach (Harleysville, PA/Souderton) won the 500 freestyle in 5:55.76. On the men's side, first-year Darrien DiObilda (Coatesville, PA/Malvern Prep.) won the 100 butterfly in 58.22.

Elizabethtown will return to action on the road at Washington & Jefferson College Saturday, November 13 at 1:00 p.m.
